I make my home base on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), Stó:lō, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish peoples. I am grateful to the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island who have lived in harmony with these lands and waters since time immemorial. I stand in solidarity with indigenous people who face ongoing dispossession and colonial violence. As an indigenous woman of Cree, Blackfoot and Iroquois ancestry, I continuously effort to bring light to and support anti colonial and anti occupation initiatives through my work and art. I firmly believe in Truth before Reconciliation. I uphold all human rights to Truth, Freedom and Sovereignty of our bodies, lives, lands and choices *and access to all information and all natural medicines.
